In Feb 26 a new format of climbing competition came to the UK - the first Pro Climbing League event in London. But this was not something just thrown together overnight, and Dave was tasked by PCL and their parter Core Climbing to document the setting process for this new head-to-head knockout format, at a secret location in the North of England….

Dave’s brief was to document the world-class setting team at work with some eye-catching reportage images to highlight the attention to detail, passion and craft they bring; all on a limited timescale, and - importantly - to not get in the way!
Images were licensed to a number of commercial partners of the event so visible logos and brand position within the images was another important consideration for the shoot.
